Beenleigh Pug Mill Cement Metering Upgrade
FSI Engineering designed, fabricated, installed and commissioned a cement and water metering system to upgrade the existing Pug Mill to meet CTB percentage requirements. The project included modifying the weigh bins to include new load cells and independent reverse pulse dust collector, installation of pneumatic aerators and vibrators, new water flow meter, replacement of Airslide, pneumatic controls and rotary valves to provide a consistent flow of cement. The upgrade resulted in the required accuracy of 0.3% being achieved to meet the tolerances specified by using live data feedback from the load cells to control the rotary valve Variable Speed Drive.
Townsville Pug Mill Cement Metering Upgrade
FSI Engineering designed, fabricated, installed and commissioned a cement metering system for a Townsville Quarry Pug Mill to meet the TMR cement accuracy requirements in their roadbase batches. The load cell weighing based discharge system implemented has delivered the required accuracy with full data logging of every run of road base made by the pug mill.
Brisbane Cementitious Products Mixing and Metering
FSI Engineering installed and commissioned a cementatious products metering, conveying and mixing system for building materials products being mixed and bagged.
