Centralised Industrial Vacuum Systems

FSI Engineering has over 15 years’ experience in Designing, Fabricating, Installing and Commissioning materials handling systems such as Centralised Industrial Vacuum Systems as recommended by the NFPA guidelines for use in plants that process products that pose a dust explosion risk such as sugar, wheat, grain and most other organic powders and granules.

Our Centralised Industrial Vacuum Systems utilise quality German and Italian manufactured equipment combined with our pipework and collection hoppers fabricated at our workshop in Queensland. For food and other dust explosion hazardous products our systems include explosion panel protection and Hazardous Area rated equipment to ensure compliance with the highest safety standards.

The NFPA guidelines (National Fire Protection Association) as referenced by Australian Standards recommends hazardous area rated centralised industrial vacuum systems for explosion risk mitigation by safe cleaning of combustible dusts in factories.

Centralised Industrial Vacuum Systems

Grain Mill Centralised Industrial Vacuum System

FSI Engineering designed, fabricated, installed and commissioned a fixed Industrial Vacuum System for a mill. The vacuum pipework allows the staff the connect a vacuum wand to any of the 20 inlet points in the system and clean-up the area with all of the waste dust and grains being conveyed to the single collection hopper outside the building and deposited into a bulk bag for ease of disposal.

The total system includes 150m of vacuum pipeline branching out over 6 floors of the plant. FSI supplied the system with 10 sets of Vacuum Wands and heads, each with 20m of hose to connect into the main conveying line.

Brewery Centralised Industrial Vacuum System

FSI Engineering designed, fabricated, installed and commissioned a centralised Industrial Vacuum System in a brewery. The vacuum pipework spreads out across 8 levels of the plant with 160m of pipework and 20 connection points, the system conveys all of the vacuumed waste product to a centralised collector which then deposits in into a plant waste screw conveyor.

Animal Feed Mill Centralised Industrial Vacuum System

FSI Engineering designed, fabricated, installed and commissioned an Industrial Vacuum System for a feed mill. The 100m of vacuum pipework with 12 vacuum connection points and 12 Vacuum Wands and Heads allows the staff to clean-up the various work areas of the waste dust and grains which are all conveyed to the single collection hopper outside the building and deposited into a bulk bag for ease of disposal.
